This specimen was lot 501 in Sincona sale 19 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 6,000 (about US$7,519 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "10 Zlotych Polskich 1823, Warsaw Mint, IB. Rare. 6 roubles acc. to Iljin. 7 roubles according to Petrov. 10 roubles acc. to Trapeznikov. About extremely fine." This issue was struck 1823-25 while Poland was under Russian rule (1815-1918). Ten złotych equaled one and a half rubles. Russian coinage for Poland ended in 1841.
