This specimen was lot 32635 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2024), where it sold for $85. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. Gulden, 1664-AT. John II Casimir. NGC EF-40. Displaying only limited signs of handling and circulation, this alluring Gulden is nicely detailed." This denomination is listed in the SCWC as simultaneously a gulden or a third thaler or a tympf. It was struck 1661-66 and weighs about one fourth of a thaler whereas the traditional tympf (18 groszy) weighed about a fifth of a thaler.
