This specimen was lot 1086 in CNG Triton XXIX (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $30,625. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND, Monarchy. Zygmunt III Wasa. 1587-1632. AV Dukat. Malbork (Marienburg) mint. Dated 1592. Crowned and armored bust right, wearing ruff / Crowned coat-of-arms. In NGC encapsulation 8419875-003, graded AU Details, Bent. Very rare. Only three examples in CoinArchives, this the finest." Later issues of 1609-12 (KM 9) were struck at Krakow.
