This specimen was lot 39031 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $1,140. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Piacenza. 2 Doppie, 1618. Ranuccio I Farnese. NGC Genuine--Clipped. From the Robert D. Reed Collection." As a doppia was a double ducat, a two doppie was four ducats. The SCWC mentions this coin under Piacenza, not Parma, and notes that it was issued 1599-1622. This specimen is light because it is clipped.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
