Piacenza 1591-AC scudo Dav-8358
This specimen was lot 532 in Künker sale 400 (Berlin, February 2024), where it sold for €3,600 (about US$4,670 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALIEN, PIACENZA, Alessandro Farnese III. 1586-1591. Scudo 1591. Münzmeister Andrea Casalino und Antonio Costino. RR Sehr attraktives Exemplar mit feiner Tönung, winz. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand, vorzüglich. (Italy, duchy of Piacenza, Alexander Farnese III, 1586-1621, scudo of 1591. Very rare, attractive example with fine toning, die breaks on the rim, extremely fine.)"
Davenport lists this scudo for 1589-99. The duke issued a number of scudi, double scudi and triple scudi, all with the same obverse. The issues continued long after his death in 1591.
