This specimen was lot 951 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $48. The catalog description[1] noted, "PFALZ: AR 20 kreuzer, 1727, small straight clip, about VF." This denomination was struck in several styles for 1727: KM 216.1 (1727-IGW, arms with large crown), KM 222 (1727-IH, arms divide the date) and KM 234 (no initials, squared arms, small crown, shown here). This style was struck again in 1736. Twenty kreuzer was one-sixth of a convention thaler.
