Peru 2010e sol rev DSLR.jpg

In 2010, the Lima mint began a series of commemoratives honoring various sites and cultures of Peru. This one features the Estele de Raimondi. This denomination has also been used for silver commemoratives. In 1991, the currency was reformed, one nuevo sol = one million intis. Surprisingly enough, the nuevo sol has remained stable against the dollar (US$1 = S/. 2.77, October 2013, US$1 = S/. 3.63, January 2021).

Recorded mintage: 10,000,000.
