There are many varieties and subtypes of this basic seated liberty design, introduced in 1864. For 1924-35, the silver fineness was reduced to 0.500, though the same design was used as heretofore. This type was struck 1924-25 and 1930-35 at Philadelphia and Lima, all with the Lima mintmark.
Recorded mintage: 695,000.
