This type is listed in the SCWC for 1776-77, one of the few multiyear types listed therein. The doppio giulio was twenty baiocchi, while the scudo was one hundred baiocchi. The SCWC notes this type as common. It was revised in 1777 to change the pope's title from "PIVS VI" (shown here) to "PIVS SEXTVS" (KM 1034).
