This specimen was lot 895 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "PAPAL STATES: Clement XIII, 1758-1769, AR giulio, 1761 year III, a wonderful lustrous mint state example! PCGS graded MS64." This type was struck in 1761 for regnal years III and IV. The reverse legend, "THESAVRIZATE / IN / COELIS", is taken from Matthew 6:20-21, "But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
