This specimen was lot 6844 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $940. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Papal States. Zecchino, 1751, Year 11. Benedict XIV (1740-58). NGC MS-63. WINGS Approved. Bright and lustrous with toning on the tops of the devices. Only a few light contact marks. Very appealing and easy on the eye." This type was struck 1741-56 and is among the more common of papal ducats.
