This series was struck in 1996 and 2001 at the Royal Canadian Mint. It features the bust of Urraca, a native chieftain, on the obverse. We find it mind-boggling that a country of 3.4 million people would need 160 million of these coins.

Recorded mintage: 160,000,000.

Specification: copper-plated zinc.
