This specimen was lot 74174 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $85. The catalog description[1] noted, "PANAMA. Centesimo, 1935. PCGS MS-64 Brown. A rich, velvety copper minor with brilliant cobalt highlights." This type was struck in modest numbers 1935 and 1937 but is not rare altho gems are scarce. The module matches the United States cent in every respect.

Recorded mintage: 200,000.

Specification: 3.11 g, bronze, 19.05 mm diameter, plain edge.
