This specimen was lot 73838 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "PANAMA. 1/10 Balboa, 1934. PCGS AU-58. A charming near-Mint example from the lowest-mintage date for this silver minor issue. Tastefully toned and quite brilliant." This is the lowest mintage of the six dates struck 1930-34 and 1947. It is not expensive in low grade but ascends rapidly in price with grade. It was struck in the United States using dime blanks.

Recorded mintage: 75,000.

Specification: 2.5 g, 0.900 fine silver, 17.9 mm diameter.
