Pakistan 1986 10 paisa rev DSLR.jpg

Pakistan was formed in 1947-48 when the British left India and India was partitioned. East Pakistan seceded in 1971 and formed the state of Bangladesh. Pakistan has struggled with legitimacy, corruption and tribal conflict. This type was struck for circulation 1981-93. The denomination has not been struck since. In 1982, US$1 = 11.7 rupees; as of September 2019, US$1 = 156.7 rupees. The Pakistani regime has issued few NCLT's, apparently not appreciating the opportunities for graft and self-dealing available to such issues.
