This specimen was lot 3544 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $238. The catalog description[1] noted, "OVERIJSSEL: Province, AR silver ducat, 1676, rose mintmark, crude flan, natural flan porosity, a few small scratches, usual uneven strike, some luster, VF to EF." This scarce type of 1676-77 is shown in the SCWC with a line drawing. The succeeding silver ducat (Dav-4920) moved the date to the top of the reverse.

Specification: 28.25 g, 0.873 fine silver, this specimen 27.91 g.

Recorded mintage: 15,820 for 1676-77.
