This specimen was lot 39424 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Overijssel. Lion Daalder, 1647/6. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, EF Details. Overdate variety." The leeuwendaalder and its half are famous in the numismatic world as being some of the worst struck coins in history. Most of the provinces and several of the cities struck them from the 1570's until the end of the seventeenth century. The SCWC lists this subtype for 1606-23, 1628-47, 1656, 1663, 1666, 1683-84.
