This specimen was lot 78476 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "SPANISH NETHERLANDS. Overyssel. 1/5 Daalder, 1567. Philip II. PCGS EF-40. From the Richard August Collection." This scarce type was struck in Overijssel at the Hasselt mint 1563 and 1566-67. It was part of an early experiment with decimal coinage and was accompanied by 1/20 and 1/10 daalders. We have similar examples from Gelderland, Holland, Brabant, Flanders, Hainaut and Artois.

Specification: 6.85 g, 0.833 fine silver, 29-30 mm diameter.
