This specimen was lot 42351 in Stack's Bowers Summer 2026 Global Showcase Auction (Pittsburgh, September 2026), where it sold for $4,148. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Oldenburg. 2/3 Taler, 1761-B. Oldenburg Mint. Friedrich V of Denmark. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, AU Details. A RARE and seldom encountered type, this minor does exhibit some minor wear and cleaning as noted, but nevertheless yields charming color and retains solid detail." This type was struck 1761-65.
