This specimen was lot 3763 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €550 (about US$711 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"STADT Goldgulden 1617. GOLD. Sehr schön. (Germany, city of Nuremberg, gold gulden of 1617, very fine.)"
This one year type is one of several issued 1614-22 featuring martyr St. Lawrence.
Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
