This specimen was lot 11192 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €336 (about US$350). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 5 Øre, 1919. Kongsberg Mint. Haakon VII. NGC MS-62. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1917-20. The iron composition was a wartime expedient although Norway was neutral during World War One. This is a common date but rare in choice condition.

Recorded mintage: 3,464,000.

Specification: 6.69 g, iron or steel, 27 mm diameter, plain edge.
