This specimen was lot 4174 in Stack's-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $282. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Kroner, 1908. NGC MS-63. Lightly toned." This type is noted for 1908-17 but, despite the steady production, it is rather scarce. It is the last of the denomination.
Recorded mintage: 200,000.
Specification: 15 g, 0.800 fine silver, .383 troy oz ASW, 31 mm diameter.
