This specimen was lot 2850 in Stephen Album sale 45 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2023), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY: Carl XV, 1859-1872, BI 4 skilling, 1871, an attractive lustrous example, PCGS graded MS62, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." This one year type was the first issue of this denomination since 1842 and the last before the decimal reform of 1874. It was accompanied by one, two and three skilling (KM 335, 336.1, 338.1), also in billon. It is not rare. Prior to the decimal reform, 120 skilling = one specie daler.
