This specimen was lot 72523 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Nijmegen. 6 Stuiver (Rijderschelling), 1690. NGC MS-62. Despite some striking weakness, which is rather typical for the type, this Mint State specimen offers a wholesome overall appearance with light gray surfaces." This type was struck 1685-91 along with other mintmarks. The municipal mints' habit of coining to short weight and short alloy infuriated the Estates General, which spent most of the seventeenth century on a campaign to close them all.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 4.95 g, 0.583 fine silver.

Catalog reference: KM-26.1.
