This specimen was lot 24518 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $30. The catalog description[1] noted, "NEW ZEALAND. 5 Dollars, 1991. NGC PROOF-69 ULTRA CAMEO. Rugby World Cup. Hard mirror fields with frosted cameo devices. Brilliant and quite attractive. From the Alex Siegel Collection." New Zealand has used the five dollar denomination only for commemoratives.

Recorded mintage: 120,000 in base metal (KM 80) plus 30,000 in silver (KM 80a).

Specification: KM 80, 27.22 g, copper-nickel, 38.7 mm diameter; KM 80a, 27.22 g, 0.925 fine silver.
