The specimen shown is from a type struck at Paris for New Hebrides in 1966. It is the only silver coin struck for the colony, which obtained independence in 1980 as Vanuatu.
Recorded mintage: 200,000.
Specification: 25 g, 0.835 fine silver, 36 mm diameter.
