This specimen was lot 75423 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2022), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES. 2-1/2 Cents, 1920. Utrecht Mint. Wilhelmina I. NGC MS-66 Brown. This well-struck copper piece presents stately hues of blue, red, and brown. The mélange of color shimmers luxuriantly in the luster's cartwheel effect. A handsome example that presently exists as the single finest certified in the NGC census." This type was struck at Utrecht in 1913, 1915 and 1920 and at Philadelphia in 1945. No proofs are recorded.
