This specimen was lot 75422 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2022), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES. 5 Cents, 1913. Utrecht Mint. Wilhelmina I. PCGS MS-65. Almost perfectly preserved and exhibiting an attractive lightly iridescent tone, this fraction has a regal quality to it. A well-struck and ideal example." This type was struck in 1913 and 1921-22 in large quantities. No more were made, likely because those produced filled the demand. Off metal strikes exist dated 1914.
