This specimen was lot 39412 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "NEPAL. Shah Dynasty. Mohar, SE 1804 (1882). Prithvi Bir Bikram. PCGS MS-62." Confusingly, many Nepalese coins were struck in silver and gold using the same dies. Some coins are dated using the Saka Era (SE) and others using the Bikram Samvat Era (VS). This date comes milled or hammered (KM 650). The milled type shown here was struck SE 1803-1827 and has a low catalog value.
