This specimen was lot 4397 in Goldberg sale 65 (Los Angeles, September 2011), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Italian States - Naples. 6 Ducati, 1776-BP. Ferdinando IV. Bust right. Reverse: Crowned arms within sprays. Popular date for collectors. NGC graded EF-40." This type was issued 1769-81 for Ferdinand IV, younger brother of Charles IV of Spain.

Recorded mintage: 182,427.

Specification: 8.79 g, 0.906 fine gold, .256 troy oz AGW.
