This specimen was lot 3594 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "BURMA/MYANMAR: Federal Union, AR 500 kyat, 1998, Chinese Zodiac - Year of the Tiger, with COA and original Singapore Mint case of issue, PCGS graded Proof 69 DCAM, ex Howard A. Daniel III Collection." This lunar calendar issue was accompanied by a gold 300 kyat (KM A51), two other silver 500 kyat (KM 52, 53), a gold 2,000 kyat (KM 55) and a gold 5,000 kyat (KM 56).
Recorded mintage: 3,998 proofs at Singapore.
Specifications: 20 g, 0.925 fine silver, 38.70 mm diameter, reeded edge.
