This specimen was lot 2866 in Sincona sale 19 (Zürich, October 2014), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Taler o. J. Ensisheim. Fast vorzüglich. (undated thaler, Ensisheim mint, about extremely fine.)" This obscure issue is from the long-vanished Abbey of Murbach and Luders in upper Alsace. The region is now firmly part of France.
