This specimen was lot 12 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €1,600 (about US$2,157 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"MÜNSTER, BISTUM, Franz von Waldeck, 1532-1553. Taler 1546, Münster. R Fast sehr schön. (bishopric of Munster, Francis of Waldeck, 1532-53, thaler of 1546, Munster mint. Rare, about very fine.)"

Davenport notes this type for 1544-46.

Recorded mintage: unknown but rare.
