This specimen was lot 3684 in Künker Auction 426 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €5,250 (about US$7,434 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"MÜNSTER, BISTUM Franz von Waldeck, 1532-1553. Taler 1545, Münster. Von größter Seltenheit. Herrliche Patina, min. Korrosionsstelle, kl. Kratzer, sehr schön +. (Germany, bishopric of Münster, Francis of Waldeck, 1532-53, thaler of 1545, Münster mint. Extremely rare, superb patina, minor corrosion spots, light scratches, very fine or better.)"
Davenport notes this type for 1544-46.
