This specimen was lot 2376 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $312. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Aurangzeb, 1658-1707, AR rupee, Jahangirnagar (= Dhaka), AH1092 year 25, gorgeous strike, choice XF." This type was struck at Jahangirnagar years 10, 20 and 24-51, and is slightly scarce. Jahangirnagar is today the city of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
