Steve Album sale 55, lot 2376, the date on the obverse is "۱۰۶۲"

This specimen was lot 2376 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Aurangzeb, 1658-1707, AR rupee, Jahangirnagar (= Dhaka), AH1092 year 25, gorgeous strike, choice XF." This type was struck at Jahangirnagar years 10, 20 and 24-51, and is slightly scarce. Jahangirnagar is today the city of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
