This specimen was lot 883 in Stephen Album sale 45 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2023), where it sold for $840. The catalog description[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Jahangir, 1605-1628, AR ½ rupee, Surat, AH(10)33 year 18, KM-, month of Aban; same legends and arrang[e]ment as the full rupee type KM-148.1; extremely rare type, even more so in this grade, NGC graded AU58, RRR. Only 4 examples of this type on CoinArchives, one graded nearly EF (with the Hijri date off flan), the others much lower grades."
