Steve Album sale 55, lot 2335

This specimen was lot 2335 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Jahangir, 1605-1628, AE 1/3 dokdo, Delwara, ND, KM-, emperor's name // mint formula, VF, RR. The denomination name is tentative, known in 2 levels, the full dokdo of about 9.15 g and the 1/3 dokdo of about 3.05 g; this is one of the finest examples known for this mint, located near Diu in Gujarat."
