Stephen Album internet sale 28, lot 1317

This specimen was lot 1317 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $168. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MOROCCO: Mohammed VI, 1999-, AR 250 dirhams, 2003/AH1424, Birth of Crown Prince Moulay Al Hassan, a few faint hairlines and abrasions, Proof, ex Dr. Wolfgang Schuster Collection." The crown prince in question is now 21 years old as of May 2024. The king married his mother in 2002 and divorced her in 2018. Other 250 dirhams struck in 2003 include Y-111 (4th anniversary of Mohammed's reign) and Y-120 (50th anniversary of the monarchy).
