This specimen was lot 4124 in Stack's-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $305.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "MONTENEGRO. 5 Perpera, 1912. NGC AU-55. Lightly toned." This type was struck in Vienna 1912 and 1914 and was the last silver issue from this country, which was absorbed into Yugoslavia in 1918.
Recorded mintage: 40,002.
Specification: 24 g, 0.900 fine silver (matches the Austrian 5 corona).
