This specimen was part of lot 31065 in Heritage sale 3081 (New York, January 2020), which sold for $3,000. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mongolia: People's Republic 3-Piece gold & silver Proof "Conservation" Set 1976, 1) "Arfali Sheep" 25 Tugrik - Proof; 2) "Bactrian Camel" 50 Tugrik - Proof; 3) gold "Przewalski Horses" 750 Tugrik - PR69 Ultra Cameo NGC; An immaculate Proof set, the gold 750 Tugrik certified as near-pristine, the two silver offerings boasting flawless cameo contrasts." This NCLT was sold in a set with a silver 25 tugrik (KM 36) and gold 750 tugrik (KM 38). The Bactrian camel, Camelus bactrianus, roams central Asia, including Tibet, western China and Mongolia. The wild form, Camelus ferus, is critically endangered.

Recorded mintage: 5,328 plus 5,900 proofs.

Specification: 35 g, 0.925 fine silver, 42 mm diameter.
