This specimen was lot 3710 in Sincona sale 39 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 140 CHF (about US$168 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALY | Milan, Maria Teresa d'Asburgo, 1740-1780 20 Soldi 1762. Mailand. Sehr schön. (duchy of Milan, Maria Theresia of Hapsburg, 1740-80, twenty soldi of 1762, Milan mint. Very fine.)"
The duchy of Milan was under Austrian rule 1714-97 and again 1815-59. This twenty soldi was issued for Maria Theresia 1762 only. The SCWC states twenty soldi made a lira (5.85-6.33 g) but this coin is too light. The last twenty soldi appeared in 1774.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: silver, 3.60-3.74 g, this specimen 3.49 g.
Catalog reference: Herinek 1764; KM-174.
