This specimen was lot 2166 in Goldberg sale 93 (Los Angeles, September 2016), where it sold for $141. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain.- Middlesex. Halfpenny Token, 1792 NGC PF62 BR. London and Middlesex. Bust of Shakespeare left. NGC graded Proof 62 Brown." This is one of the earlier Conder tokens, whose issue peaked a few years later. Edge varieties exist.
Specification: Copper, 11.67 g, 31.25 mm diameter.
