This specimen was issued to honor the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Puebla in 1862, in which the Mexicans defeated and temporarily checked the French invaders. The death of Grl. Zaragoza soon after deprived the Juaristas of badly needed leadership.

Specification: 10.33 g, aluminum-bronze ring with nickel brass, 28 mm diameter.
