This type was struck 1919-21, 1925-25, 1937-39, 1942-45 in Mexico along with a silver peso, ten and twenty centavos. The silver ten centavos was terminated in 1935 and the silver twenty centavos was terminated in 1943. The fifty centavos and peso survived until 1945.
Recorded mintage: 800,000, a slightly better date.
Specification: 8.33 g, 0.720 fine silver, 27 mm diameter, lettered edge.
