This specimen was lot 22647 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $152.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "MAURITIUS. 5 Cents, 1964. NGC PROOF-64 RD. Sharply struck with splendid red mirrored fields that are gorgeous." This type was struck for queen Elizabeth in 1956-71, 1975, 1978. It is common tho proofs are scarce.

Recorded mintage: 600,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 9.70 g, bronze, 28.4 mm diameter.
