This specimen was lot 71198 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it sold for $480. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MARSHALL ISLANDS. 100 Dollars, 1988. NGC PROOF-67 Ultra Cameo. Diver Greg Louganis on diving board. Bright, flashy and quite lustrous. Free of tone, haze or fog." This is the only issue of this denomination in the 20th century catalog. We regard the SCWC's mintage estimate as improbable.
