The catalog description^[1] noted, "MALI: AV 10 francs, [1967], bust of President Mobido Keita, commemorating the country's independence, undated, NGC graded PF64 UC." The region was formerly French Sudan. Modibo Keïta (1915-77) was the first President of Mali (1960–1968) and the Prime Minister of the Mali Federation.
