This specimen was lot 3695 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MALAYSIA: AR 25 ringgit, 1977, KM-23, 9th Southeast Asian Games, struck at the Franklin Mint, BU." This NCLT is a relic of the Franklin Mint's foray into contract minting.

Recorded mintage: 100,000 plus proofs.
