This specimen was lot 47229 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $45. The catalog description[1] noted, "LUXEMBOURG. 25 Centimes, 1930. Charlotte. PCGS MS-65 Red. From the Dr. Michael Vale Collection." Luxembourg, occupied and devastated by German occupation during World War One, was enjoying a brief respite of peace before the Nazis would repeat the experience again during World War Two. This one year type was struck in Brussels in 1930 and demonetized in 1939.
