This specimen was lot 75025 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $576. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Lubeck. 1/2 Taler, 1620. Ferdinand II. PCGS AU-58. A handsome near-Mint example of this seldom offered type, featuring a nicely detailed strike upon each side. A moderate blend of iridescent color pairs well with the coin's luster, lending it a most pleasing appearance." This type was struck 1620-35.
